Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized apples, cored and chopped (you can leave the skin on for extra fiber)
  • 1 cup apple juice or cider
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (Greek yogurt works well for a thicker texture)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)
  • Ice cubes (optional for a colder smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Core and chop the apples.
  2. Place the chopped apples in a blender.
  3. Add apple juice or cider to the blender.
  4. Spoon in the plain yogurt.
  5. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the ingredients.
  6. Optional: Add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter smoothie.
  7. If you want a colder smoothie, you can add a handful of ice cubes.
  8. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
