Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
  • ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Make the Raspberry Puree:

  • In a blender, combine the raspberries and ¼ cup of water.
  • Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Set the raspberry puree aside.

Prepare the Lemonade:

  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add the raspberry puree to the lemonade mixture and stir well.

Add Water:

  • Pour in the remaining 3¾ cups of cold water. Stir to combine.

Chill and Serve:

  • Add ice cubes to the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if needed.

Garnish and Enjoy:

  • Serve the raspberry lemonade over ice in glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries, lemon slices, and mint leaves if desired.
